Our New Normal: Here’s How You’ll Be Welcomed In, for Now

Hello, current and future neighbors!

We hope this blog post finds you and yours safe and well.

Given the pandemic and ongoing developments surrounding it, we would like to share some details about how we’re handling social distancing here at Upper East River. Our state’s shelter-in-place order has been lifted, so Upper East River will be reopening for showings. They’ll just look a little different!

The well-being of our existing residents and potential buyers is of the greatest importance to us, so we gathered (virtually) as a team to brainstorm how we can best serve you while safeguarding your health. The result is an innovative series of solutions that we are excited to share …

We will welcome you in—at a distance or remotely!

Here are a few ways you can see our homes right now:

  1. Be guided by an agent who stands apart.

We love for our guests to be greeted by our smiling faces and sense our passion for this place in person, and we think this can still be accomplished responsibly. If you are comfortable venturing out to a showing, one of our agents will take you through a tour of the home, from an appropriate distance. There won’t be any handshaking, but you’ll get the face-to-face feel.

  2. Take your own tour.

If you’d like to come see the home, but would rather avoid contact with anyone else, we can let you in through an automated system! First, we’ll need to go over a few cautionary requests, including that you avoid touching surfaces whenever possible, sanitize anything you do touch, and wash your hands upon entering and leaving the home. After all of that has been reviewed, we will unlock the door and give you time to take your own tour. If any questions arise as you do so, you can text, call, or video chat a team member who will be on standby for you.

  3. Jump on a video chat from home.

If you would prefer not to leave your home at all, one of our agents would be happy to take you on your own personal online walk-through via FaceTime or Zoom.

No matter which option you choose, you’ll now need to make an appointment. But, one can be scheduled as late as one hour beforehand. We currently have several homes available for immediate purchase and move-in, as well as a series of other unique offerings (like reserving your spot in The Hamilton). If you’d like to discuss any of this, make an appointment, ask a question, or express a concern, please get in touch! We can be reached at 912.800.1885 and

This certainly isn’t the way we imagined you’d first experience our beautiful community and homes, but we think it is the ideal approach in our new normal!

We can’t wait until we can all walk along a bustling River Street once more, but until then, we hope to be a partner for you as you navigate these unusual times and, perhaps, discover your dream home in spite of them!

Call us today for an appointment, at 912.800.1885.
