It’s here! Sweet, sweet summer in Savannah has arrived. Well, technically the calendar turns over on June 21 as we mark the summer solstice. But of course, as soon as we leave May behind it really feels like summer. Now that we’ve entered into these sunshine-filled days, it’s time to check out the Savannah happenings! More free time means more fun things to do are in order. Here are a few of the events we’re most excited about.
Juneteenth Family Day at Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center

Ceremonies, performances, activities, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow—Juneteenth Family Day at the Jepson Center is a must! Because with a schedule of events from 1 to 3 p.m., this special event offers an afternoon of education. Admission is free to local residents.
Freedom Fest at Savannah Harley-Davidson

Riders, get ready! Because Savannah Harley-Davidson is hosting bike games, live music with Smokin Souls, free bike inspections, and dinner raffle prizes. This July 2 gathering is sure to be a fun one for the biking community.

Create a summer in Savannah memory for the kids! With living history demonstrations, this event invites you to celebrate like it’s 1864! Drop by from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 2 for an interesting few hours.

Where better to view the Independence Day brilliance than over the water? Well, starting at 9 p.m. on July 4, you can do just that from the Tybee Pier. And you should. Because it promises to be the most impressive fireworks show you’ve seen!

But for those who want to bring a touch of fanciness to their summer in Savannah, the Libertea High Tea at Savannah Coffee Roasters is calling!
